Yummy Reading at The Milkman’s Daughter

A fresh shipment of PLENTY has arrived at The Milkman’s Daughter.  This cookbook has some of the tastiest and most beautiful vegetarian cooking you’ll find.  I know because I have been cooking out of it frequently over the past few months.  This book has been on backorder for a bit so if you want one, you may want to pick one up quickly, they never seem too last long.

Apparently the SOBA NOODLES WITH EGGPLANT AND MANGO is Trish’s favorite dish… and she can even make it!  (HEY, someone told me to say that.)  Check out the mouthwatering photo.  I love (really love!) TAMARA’S RATATOUILLE and the VEGGIE PAELLA and the WINTER SLAW, and every other recipe I’ve tried.

And for all the LUCKY PEACH fans, the new Spring issue is in!  For those of you unfamiliar with LUCKY PEACH, well, is it a magazine to be experienced… it’s full of irreverence and wit, conversation amongst chefs, great cooking tips and interesting food ideas in a very well written and original magazine.  Again, this is a hot item at Milk and usually flies out the door pretty quickly, so if you’ve been waiting with bated breath or I’ve piqued your interest, you’d best come get yours quick!  I’m hungry now. Nico.

I confess, I’m not the great cook. Rachael texted me a few weeks ago saying she had just made the mango, eggplant dish and it was delicious. She told me to try it and yes it is!
