Studio Update: Screen Printing Class
Have you ever wanted to learn how to print your own images? Sign up for our class and learn from the pros.
This class is geared toward the DIY person. It will be held at our studio in Victoria and taught by Trish (Smoking Lily’s fearless leader) and Rachael (one of our two expert silk-screeners). You will learn all the basics of screen printing, including: selecting artwork, building a frame, burning your image and printing your own designs.
The class will be broken down into three sessions: Tuesday November 6th, 5:30 to 7:00, Tuesday November 13th, 5:30 to 8:00 and Tuesday November 20th, 5:30 to 9:00. The total fee is $220 and you leave with new knowledge, a lovely tea towel and fabric that you have screened with your own designs, plus your new screen to use for future projects. It’s a great time of year to make presents!
We run on a ‘first to pay, first in the class’ system. You can register at the Milkman’s Daughter, 1713 Government Street, in person or by phone (250-590-5451).
We’re looking forward to meeting you!

HI! Please please can you run the workshop in Vancouver too? I’m visiting from Australia until January and have a one-year-old so no way to get to Vic all those days. I love your work and would love to get some going in Australia!
Hi Julie
Sorry, we can’t do that for you. It would be fun. If I ever go to Melbourne Australia, I would love to take a class here: http://www.harvesttextiles.com.au/classes.html
