We’re so happy you’re here! Below you’ll find everything you need to know about how your order gets from our Wharf Street Studio to your doorstep.

 

 

Shipping Rates

  • Canada & Continental USA

    • Orders over $200 CAD (pre-tax) qualify for free shipping

    • Orders under $200 CAD (pre-tax) ship for a flat rate of $15 CAD

  • International Orders (outside Canada & USA)

    • Flat rate shipping of $45 CAD

    • In some cases, larger international orders may incur additional shipping costs. If this applies to your order, we will contact you to invoice the additional amount prior to shipment.

 

 

Canadian Orders

All Canadian orders are shipped expedited and include delivery confirmation and insurance. Items are insured for the full purchase value.

We prioritize shipping with Canada Post, though we may also use alternate carriers such as UPS, FedEx, or Purolator.

If you have questions about how your order will be shipped, please contact us before placing your order.

 

 

U.S. Orders & Tariffs

First and foremost, we truly appreciate our U.S. customers and are so grateful you’ve found our small studio based in Victoria, BC 💛

Due to changes to U.S. tariff regulations, shipping to the United States has become more complex. Our goods qualify for a CUSMA exemption, and no duties should be levied under this agreement. All U.S. shipments include the appropriate export documentation, and our team may reach out if additional information is required.

However, we cannot cover customs duties or fees that may be applied by the shipping courier. Any such charges are:

  • Assessed directly by the courier

  • The responsibility of the customer

  • Non-refundable if you choose to refuse the shipment

By placing a U.S. order, you acknowledge and accept the risk of any additional fees upon delivery. Smoking Lily is not responsible for delays caused by U.S. customs processing.

Please note:

  • Certain items are not currently eligible for U.S. shipping, including:

    • Unisex tees

    • Baggu bags

    • Tea towels

    • Mernini raincoats

All orders shipped to the U.S. are final sale. 

 

 

International Orders

Customs charges, duties, and taxes on international shipments are payable by the customer. Smoking Lily is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.

All orders shipped internationally are final sale.

 

 

Returns & Shipping Fees (Canada Only)

Approved returns are subject to a flat-rate $15 CAD return shipping fee. Once your return request is approved, you will receive a prepaid shipping label, and the fee will be deducted from the credit that is applied to you.

In-Store Pickup

We offer free local pickup at our Store located at 1713 Government Street, Victoria, BC during regular business hours. 

Please note, your order may be fulfilled from our Wharf Street Studio or Government Street Store stock.  This process usually takes 1–3 business days, depending on order timing and fulfillment volume.

You will receive an email notification once your order is ready for pickup. Please do not go to the Government Street Store for pick-up until you receive the email.

An in-store pickup order is considered 'delivered' for return-policy purposes as soon as the pickup-ready email is sent.
