Shipping & Delivery

Orders over $200 CAD (pre-tax) are eligible for free shipping within Canada and the continental USA. Orders under $200 CAD (pre-tax) ship within Canada and the continental USA for a flat rate of $15 CAD.

International shipping beyond the USA and Canada is $45 CAD, though in certain cases a large international order may cost more to ship - we will be in touch with you if this is the case and will invoice you for the extra shipping costs.

All Canadian orders are shipped expedited, with delivery confirmation and insurance. Items are insured for the total purchase price.

Customs charges and taxes on international shipments are payable by customer.

US ORDERS - Regarding Tariffs
Firstly, we want to say that we truly appreciate our U.S. Customers and are so thankful that you found our small studio based in Victoria, BC! Unfortunately, it is getting a little more difficult (confusing) for us to ship to the US due to changes to the rules about tariffs imposed by the US Administration.  

We have determined that our goods qualify for a CUSMA  exemption and no duties should be levied.  All our shipments will include the appropriate export certificate - our team may reach out if additional information is required. 

Unfortunately we cannot cover the cost of customs duties, which may be levied by the shipping courier directly to you. These are the responsibility of the customer to pay on their shipment, and we cannot accept returns of items should you refuse the import fee. Please be aware you are assuming the risk of any additional fees upon receipt of your order.

Select items are ineligible for US shipping such as Unisex tees, Baggu bags, tea towels, and Mernini raincoats.

We do not offer refunds, exchanges or returns on items that have shipped to the US.

All orders shipped to addresses outside of Canada are a Final Sale.

CANADIAN ORDERS 
We prioritize shipping with Canada Post; however, we do use alternate carriers such as UPS, Fedex, and Purolator. In the event of a postal strike, customers with with PO Boxes will be contacted regarding holding your order until the labour dispute has ended and shipments can resume, or you can provide an alternative address. If you have questions about how your order will be shipped please contact us.

All Returns are subject to a flat-rate $15 shipping fee. You will receive a prepaid shipping label once your return request is approved, and the cost will be deducted from your credit. Returns are eligible to be sent via Canada Post during normal postal service. See all Return info here.


In-Store Pickup
We offer free local pickup at our Victoria store (1713 Government Street).
Please note that online purchases draw from our Studio inventory, not from the store's inventory. Once your order has been placed and fulfilled, we send it over from the Studio to the Government Street store. Depending on when your order is placed and how long it takes us to fulfill your order, it may take 1-7+ days for your order to arrive at the store. When your order is ready for pickup we will contact you via email. An in-store pick-up order is considered delivered for the purpose of our return policy as soon as you receive the email that your order is available for pick-up.
